The only time you would ever pay anything above the listed price per ticket on TickPick is if:
- Tickets are set for a local pickup (for which there is a $5 delivery fee).
- Tickets have to be shipped via FedEx (in which case you would be charged a one-time FedEx fee that will pay for the cost of a shipping label). The standard FedEx 2-day shipping fee is $10.99, while the overnight shipping fee is $15.99.

How is sales tax calculated?
TickPick doesn’t like service fees, and we also don’t like taxes. Unfortunately, some states do legally require that we collect a predetermined sales tax for all ticket purchases made on not just TickPick, but every single other ticket site out there. Bear in mind that in this case, taxes ≠ service fees.

How is sales tax on tickets calculated?
Sales tax is calculated depending on the state in which the event is being held, the type of event it is (sports vs. concerts vs. theater), and also the face value given by the seller. For example, a ticket to an MLB game in Texas may have a slightly different sales tax percentage applied to the total price than a ticket for an MLB game held in Georgia. Additionally, the sales tax applied may vary based on the type of event that the ticket is for. For example, a concert ticket may have a different sales tax on it than a ticket for an NFL game.
