XCover partners with TickPick to offer optional ticket insurance for customers who cannot attend an event for a covered reason.
What is the checkout process like?
- Select the ticket insurance option during TickPick checkout.
- Complete your ticket purchase.
- You’ll see two separate charges: one from TickPick for your tickets and one from CoverX for your insurance.
- You’ll receive a separate insurance confirmation email from XCover. Follow its activation link to access your account and policy.
What is Event Ticket Protection from XCover?
Event Ticket Protection is an optional insurance product offered through XCover that can reimburse you if you can't attend an event for a qualifying reason. You can add it during checkout for any TickPick purchase.
How do I add ticket protection to my order?
TickPick users who are residents of the United States will be offered ticket protection for new purchases. Select Event Ticket Protection from XCover when completing any TickPick purchase on our desktop site, mobile site, or app. You’ll see the option to add protection right on the checkout page.
How much does ticket protection cost?
Insurance costs a percentage of your total TickPick purchase. The exact rate will be displayed during checkout, so you know exactly what you’re paying before you commit. If you choose to purchase insurance, you will see two charges: one from TickPick and one from XCover. You will also receive a separate email from XCover that includes your plan documents.
What does ticket protection cover?
First, you’re always 100% protected by TickPick’s BuyerTrust Guarantee, which ensures your tickets arrive in time for your event and are valid for entry. Event Ticket Protection from XCover is a separate form of protection that can reimburse you if you can’t use your tickets for any of the following covered reason examples:
- Traffic Accident
- Covered Illness
- Injury
- Mechanical Breakdown
- Jury Duty
- Any Other Covered Reason
Do I need ticket protection if I already have the BuyerTrust Guarantee?
The BuyerTrust Guarantee and Event Ticket Protection serve different purposes. BuyerTrust ensures your tickets are legitimate and delivered on time. Event Ticket Protection covers personal, unforeseen circumstances that prevent you from attending, such as getting sick or being in a car accident on the way to the venue.
Are there any terms or exclusions I should know about?
Yes. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. Plans may not be available in all jurisdictions and are available only to U.S. residents. Be sure to review the full plan details and purchase terms provided by XCover, so you understand exactly what is and isn’t covered.
